As part of the “Editing, Publishing, and Validating” project, the Francophone University Agency (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie) supported the development of “standardized teaching tool E-Portfolio for USJ students”. This project was carried out by the UNTE in collaboration with the University Higher Education Mission at Saint-Joseph University in Beirut.
Definitely, the purpose is to encourage students at different institutions to design a comprehensive “personalized and evolving academic profile which showcases students’ learning progression, works, achievements, reflections and comments on a digital online platform. which brings together the transversal skills developed by each during the years of study at the University. Indeed, this tool is based on the Repository of transversal skills which was designed thanks to the work of Dr. Rima Moawad, Director of the Lebanese School of Social Training. The stored resources in the portfolio can be shared in whole or in part and allow the learner to document and reflect on his progress and learning outcomes.”
